I would like
to share my experience when i was playing for my class.
It’s Saturday
but I don’t remember when it is. I was waiting for running with the other
runners. I really can not relax and i always be like that whenever i prepare
for run. Ghina the other runners and I, took some exercise. We were running for
25 meters and decided who will running first. In the end, I was the last runner
for girl. I gave greetings to my oppenent which made me more relax and we were
talking a moment before i see Ghina already running!!
I waa a bit
shock and got my self in the position. Dimas, another runner was getting closer
and give the stick to me and i run immidiately.
Alhamdulillah we won the game on that competition. But on
the next round, we lose the game. Yeah... there was a student but i forget his
name, was running really fast! I saw it with my own eyes. But that ‘s alright. It
just a game. And i enjoy every games which i played.
Beside i was
the player, i was part of medic division. But i was not te only medic division,
there were also anothers. I am really happy because i can do my job as PMR3.
I woke up at
05:20 am and took a bath fast because i have special scedule for this day. At
19 – 24th April, Asian African Conference was held in Bandung. 23th April, over
60 students of SMAN 3 Bandung and I join for contribute a event named “Harmony
Angklung for the world” which 20.000 people will playing angklung. We began
this day with gattering in our school and took a walk to Gor Siliwangi that not
too far from our school. There were many peoples around the place. Teachers,
folks, salers, and of course students dominated the path. We can see other
teenagers from different schools with their outfit.
The
sky was bright and brought the morning light to the participants. Our feeling
were same as the blue sky. We were getting close to the gate of the place which
the even will be held. As time changed and more peoples join the event, we
walked more slow, even we stoped many times.
There
were many photographers took pictures of the event around the street. Here are
the picture of them.
Oh! There were some polices too!
They guarded around so the event insya Allah runs well.
Mr. Doni and Miss Wiwin also
guided us...
After a long time, finally we
really close frome the gate but.. so many peoples wanted to enter the place!
Then, we can came in and got many souvenirs! Some foods, Tea, T-shirt, and of
course angklung.
It’s really hard to see another
friends because too many people and use the same shirt which it from the
committee. The sun also really bright and clear. We were use umbrella. After
looking for the piece of us, we were gattering together again and playing
angklung with all (?) participants. We playing some songs like “Halo-Halo
Bandung”. After playing many times we took some break and we were collecting
many trash which can exchange with book coupon. Every 10 trash we get 1 coupon.
After we playing the main song
and got warm greetings from World Record Committee, we went back to school.
But! Before that, Some of my friends and I which collected many trashes,
exchanged all the trash with coupons.
"Colors Of The Wind" was written by Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz. "Colors of the Wind" won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 68th Academy Awards in 1995.
"The
song demonstrates the difference in the Native American and European cultures,
and serves as a plea from Pocahontas for the colonisers to care about the
indigenous land and people."
The song
most tells about how many things that we don’t know about earth. I think some
part this song tells that if we getting know people around and not just to people
which we already know we will learn new things, new characters, new colors of
this world. To much things that humans do not know, there are many kinds of
things and humans know only a little.
You think
I'm an ignorant savage
And you've been so many places
I guess it must be so
But still I cannot see
If the savage one is me
How can there be so much that you don't know?
You don't know ...
You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends
How high will the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind
You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind
Why i choose this song?
-Because this song remind me how much i don't know about this
world. Remind me how little what humans know. That realized why we have to
study and be thankful to god, that i still can study formaly.

Box Jellyfish
There is First-Aid for Jellyfish
Sting Treatment by Melinda Ratini, DO, MS on October 25, 2013;
1. Get the Person Out of the
Water
2. Stop Stinging
For a jellyfish sting in
non-tropical waters:
Wash the area
with seawater to deactivate stinging cells.
For a sting in tropical waters --
especially from box jellyfish:
Rinse
immediately with vinegar. Do not use fresh or tap water, which can reactivate
stinging cells.
Continue until
you can get medical help.
3. Decontaminate and Remove
Tentacles
For jellyfish
stings, the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross have
recommended the following:
Rinse the area
with vinegar for at least 30 seconds. If vinegar is not available, a solution
of baking soda can be used. This will deactivate the stinging cells.
Next, soak the
area in hot water for at least 20 minutes if possible. Cold packs can be used
instead if the area can’t be soaked in hot water..
Darth Vader or the Narcomedusae;
Found in the Arctic, this is a fairly new discovered species with
4 tentacles and 12 stomach pouches. It swims holding out its
poisoned tentacles in front, better to ambush prey.
These
treatments are based on research done in the Indo-Pacific areas, however, and
may not be effective in the oceans of the North Atlantic . In fact, in this
area, vinegar may actually make the symptoms worse, depending on the type of
jellyfish. Some experts therefore recommend a hot water rinse and lidocaine
applied to the area if available. If this is not possible, then removing
the stinging cells and rinsing in seawater would also be an option.
4. Treat Discomfort
Use mild
hydrocortisone cream or oral antihistamine to relieve itching and swelling.
5. Follow Up
For less severe sting:
Use ice packs
or over-the-counter pain relievers for welts.
Clean open
sores 3 times a day and apply antibiotic ointment. Bandage if needed.
For a severe reaction:
The person may
be hospitalized for several days.
Anti-venom
will be administered for box jellyfish stings
White Spotted Jelly Fish;
Fairly large they generally consume snail species but they have become a concern in some areas because of the huge amount of water they filter, digesting plankton that some food fish and other fish need.
Jellyfish Lake: On Eil Malk island in Palau, you'll find a beautiful marine lake with a large population of golden jellyfish.

I spend my holiday with my daily activity. Sleep, eat, pray,
and play thats what i did. But view days before i have to go to did PMR
training, i finished watch K-Drama which really entertanining. I spend about 3
hours up to 5 hour for watched until my eyes were tired and my head feltdizzy. However, i keep watched that movie
like that until i finished that at January 3th. Well, i didn’t spend my new
yearwith my cousions, uncles or aunts,
even my mom. My mom did her job in her office at new year, she came back home
at 4 am. I heard many fireworks exploded near my house, they were a bit anoyed
me. I also made some drawing, digital art and with pencil color. Draw is one of
a kind activities which i like.
On January 9th I went to CIC to do “Diklat AB PMR”. First, I
went to “Lapangan Bali” with others 6 friends which join PMR too. They were
Vivi, Dewi, falla, Febri, Rayza, and Akmal. Some of us, came from different
class like Febri and Rayza. About 10 o’clock we went to CIC by Angkot and came
out and walked about 300 meters before the place which called CIC. We played
some game and succes. We have to walk up by stairs, and in the some place, we
had to built tent and “bivak” for 1 hour. But it was not enough to complete the
task.
There were other exciting experiences , but i will tell you
(all) few of them. When we have to cook some food, we were really confused ‘coz
we didn’t have any spatula for cooking. After that, Falla and Dewi decided to
use their spoon as spatula. We did’t use kerosene or gas for cooking, we use
paraffin. It was very hard to burn the paraffin ‘coz wind blowed really hard.
Oh! The most unique things is we called paraffin “puff-puff!”Until now, i don’t
know why it was called puff-puff?? We cooked few of food by unhygienic method
like we use candle for roasted cornet beef and wet tissue for washed cooking appliance
haha. We enjoyed our cooking time and end with happy and a bit upset stomach (i
guess) (o_o)
Sorry i just write about few things from my holiday but
ihope it can appoin my holiday, sorry
for mistakes and typo, hope you understand what i tell from this short story.
